THE LIVE STAGE

If you're a fan of TV motoring programmes then, no doubt, you'll already know all about our regular Live Stage hosts Mike Brewer and Edd China.

Show Features - Wheeler Dealer Live

Their Wheeler Dealers series is one of the most popular shows on the Discovery network. For the one or two of you that don't know - Mike Brewer is the cheeky, chirpy, cockney 'geezer' who buys and sells cars while his TV partner, Edd China, is the middle class, public schooled, 'English eccentric' engineer who's often unenvialble task is to repair and restore Mike's purchases to tip top condition for sale. Mike then sells the car on, hopefully for a small profit, ‘’old out your aaand, you’ve got yourself a crackin’ motor’. Granted, a strange pairing (how they ever met in the first place, no-one knows), but it's one that absolutely works. Fans of Wheeler Dealers will be pleased to hear that, what you see on the screen, is absolutely what you get in real life. Genuinely nice guys always happy to chat with their fans.

Back in 2008 Mike gave Edd the job of restoring/repairing a 1961 Morris Mini live on our stage. We liked the finished car so much that we kept it! Not only that, we then (reluctantly) gave it away it away to a lucky winner at the 2009 show! Keep your eyes out for plans for 2010…

For those of you not of a technical persuasion, don't panic! The Live Stage is not all about mechanics. Mike and Edd also host Q&A sessions, live car demos, expert guests, gameshows, giveaways and general tomfoolery all day, every day on the Live Stage. It's not a formal affair, just come along, grab a seat (it's free to all ticket holders), meet the guys and enjoy the show.Check back for more Live Stage 2010 info.
